"Made on the Coast (MotC) is a local Artists' Community that holds a one day "pop up" event on Main Street during the world famous Annual Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival.

The pop-up is a juried show of coastside artists, who live and create in Coastal San Mateo County, in Northern California.

The Ask // The Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee sought to modernize the logo for Made on the Coast. (A sub-committee of the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay, CA consisting of coastside artists, artisans and musicians.)

Solution // Highlight the beauty of Half Moon Bay by incorporating elements found on the coast; flowing waves, the colors of a sunset, and the curve of a half moon for which the bay was named. All three elements were brought together to form a cohesive, circular unit.
